OK, so we got Elf on the Shelf. Mom thought it would to good to tie "SAM" up so it would look like he was flying or hovering around the tree. Dad thought it was creepy to tie the fishing line around his neck. Mom said "it was fine". When I woke up mom said "look Dylan, he is hovering looking at the tree." I replied "mom, he has a rope tied around his neck!" UGH! Mom learned a lesson from that one!
